Ferrari F1-2001 GP Monza Handbuilt by BBR (2001)
This is a 1:43 scale hand-built replica by BBR of the infamous ‘Blacknose’ F1-2001 racecar that Ferrari ran in Monza to commemorate the September 11, 2001 tragedy. The car as well as the drivers helmets’ and suits’ ran without their livery for this historic event. Ferrari later that year would go on to clinch the 2001 World Championship. In cooperation with BBR of Italy, Ferrari commisioned production of these hand-built replicas as part of the ‘Libreria Autodromo’ series which were limited to just 150pcs. worldwide. Each piece was then mounted on a Schedoni suede base with a clear acrylic cover for viewing. Definitely an instant collectors piece. Sold out worldwide.
